Video Clips for Classroom Use

Here are some video clips that I have found useful in teaching. These videos are all available on the web, but you should download and use what I have posted here. The clips you grab off YouTube, or wherever, will all play at 30 frames per second. None of these clips, however, were originally filmed at that rate. The result is nonsensical numbers for speeds and accelerations, which defeats the entire purpose of video analysis. The clips available here have been "restored", which means that I deleted the duplicated frames and rencoded them at what appears to be the original frame rate.

All of these clips have been extracted from longer works that are (presumably) under copyright. In each case, what is presented here is a brief extract from a longer work. The purpose of said extraction is explicitly both nonprofit and educational. Therefore the use of these clips is permitted under the "fair use" doctrine (official details are here). Please do not try to sell these clips, incorporate them into a commercial work, or otherwise do something that might endanger their availability to all.
